If a child is being bullied, it’s important to notify the school when a problem or incident occurs. Once the school is notified, the response should never be inaction.
For parents, putting the school on notice and creating a paper trail is a preventative measure to protect your child in the event that threats or harassment escalate to physical harm. It shows that the school knew or should have known.
